The production process of ton bags (container bags) mainly uses polypropylene (PP) as the raw material. Through multiple procedures, high-strength packaging containers are manufactured. The following is a detailed description of the core steps:
- Raw material preparation and ratio adjustment
Polypropylene particles (PP) are used as the main raw material and a small amount of stabilizing additives need to be added for uniform mixing. The quality of the raw materials directly affects the strength of the finished product. It is necessary to ensure compliance with standards through supplier screening and performance testing. - Wire Drawing Process
Melt Extrusion: PP particles are melted into a liquid state at high temperature by an extruder, and then extruded into films through molds.
Cooling and Wire Cutting: The films are cooled and shaped, and then cut into wires. These wires are then stretched and heat-treated to form high-strength PP raw filaments.
Quality Inspection: Each batch of wire threads must be inspected for uniformity and strength. - Weaving and Base Fabric Production
The drawn filament is woven into tubular base fabric using a circular loom. The tension and density of the warp and weft threads are controlled to enhance the wear resistance. Some of the base fabric undergoes coating treatment to improve moisture resistance or static electricity prevention properties. - Cutting and Sewing
Cutting: Cut the base fabric into the shape of the bag body according to customer requirements.
Sewing: Use a special sewing machine to sew the bag bottom and add a sealing strip to enhance the sealing performance. - Accessory Assembly
The straps and other accessories are woven into a high-strength band-like structure by the weaving machine, and then sewn to the bag body to enhance its load-bearing capacity. - Post-processing and Quality Inspection
The finished products need to undergo tension tests and sealing checks to ensure they meet safety standards. For dangerous goods transport type bags, additional UN certification is also required.
Special treatment: Depending on the application, functional coatings such as UV protection and tear resistance can be added.
Environmental friendliness: Some ton bags are designed for reusability, and the durability of the materials needs to be considered.
